Regardless whether you are an art connoisseur or an art noob, it is always fun and relaxing to admire apiece of art. Abstract arts, sceneries and all sortsof oil painting, canvasses and whatnots, art are part and parcel of our history, with great artist such as Micheangelo and Picasso and a lot more but their names escaped me for the moment.

Judging from the way I talk about art, you bet I am a noob, but hey, I do like to look at them and think about what the artist is trying to portray with the piece of art. It is sometimes interesting to note that there are all types of customers from all walks of life walk through that office door to transform their imagination into reality. I am not talking about the surreal, fairygodmother type of wishing wand wishes. Its more like, I want do make a larger signboard than my competitor nextdoor and I want it urgent so you had better do is ASAP.

Most of them walk through the door for their business, although some came in to do personal stuffs - retouching old, greyscale photographs, designing wedding invitation card, and as of today, a man walk in for the sake of his firstborn’s birthday.

Like many first time parents, the man wanted a large poster for the backdrop of his son’s birthday, and he even had a theme for the birthday, a combination of Winnie The Pooh and Liverpool. Why the weird combo? Well, he explain, not unapologetically, that his wife loves the Pooh idea, and since he doesn’t want his son to be sissified but at the same time stay in good books with the wife, he added Liverpool to the theme.

Parenthood seems to be an exhilarating phase to him. He went on and on about the joy of seeing his tot grow up from an infant, how he was like at birth and how fast he is growing up now that they are going to celebrate his birthday. I guess firstborns are always pampered the most. I hope the kid remembers what his parents did for him when he grows up.

The general election is coming soon and as usual the government is proclaiming that they are doing a lot of work for the citizens, but deep down, you and I know what had happened. Prices increase multi fold and household item costs more than ever. I bet the government won’t be raising the petrol price before the election but right after it is a different story. By the time the petrol increases, the tolls would have increased by God knows how much, and the effect of the increase in petrol is going to affect the price of every single consumer item in this country. Before that a middle class family of fours might spend at least RM600.00 a month for food, but soon after that amount of money might just be able to last them a quarter of month.

In short, we really have to tighten our belt and hold tight to our money where spending is concern, especially families with a sole breadwinner. Unforeseen emergencies such as sick child, car broke down or household repair will be a huge burden to family with a tight budget. payday loans might be able to solve the problems for a while but the source of the problem is a big gunshot wound that a tiny plaster couldn’t heal.

I have to say that, blogging really makes the world smaller. Just recently. I’ve stumbled upon a blog by someone from UK, and from here blog I found that UK is a nice place to visit, with a lot of things that I wished to see and experience.

As much as I hate doing housework, Chinese New Year is just around the corner, so the mandatory big clean sweep for the whole house must be done. Cleaning windows, fans, ceilings and washrooms, sunning the bed and pillows washing bedsheets and stuffs like that are part of the routine, and it is a lot of work only a big festival like Chinese New Year deserve the thorough cleaning. But, hey that is just me, because some people do keep their house clean that way all time in the year. I wonder if they need things like special window cleaners, super detergents, upright vacuum cleaner, electric cobweb duster or very helpful stuffs household chore stuffs to help them.

So, where can I find the vacuum cleaner they are using? Hope it is a good one, because I am lazy to sweep, so vacuum cleaner it is then.
