My apologies for the lack of updates.
Procrastination has, in a way got the better of me, and despite the best effort of trying to string blog posts over blog posts in my mind, I have never really attempted to write them down.
Life is, of course, not standstill. I’ve got a job, I’ve graduated and then I’ve changed job again. It seems as if it was a long time ago since my previous job, despite it was just a month ago.
Seriously, I think there are some noteworthy points in the job that I should write down, least I forget about them.
It was, ohhh-so-fun being a customer service officer minion in a call center. You know, the place where you call when there’s a problem with your cellphone and you wanted to scold your telco for giving shitty service. Basically, my initial thought was to just waste some time, entertain myself, and at the same time receive wages whilst looking for another job.
Well, the first four weeks of the job was spent on training, getting a grip on the system and how things work, learning all the products and services of the company and things as such. Training was uneventful, save for an incident where another trainee mass sent a gross, nude corpse email to everyone in the company, which includes 40 A4 pages of email addresses employees all over the world from Australia to Europe. Took 2 years off the trainer’s life trying to do damage control, which sufficiently made the guy an epic.
Real life call answering, however, is a different thing altogether, especially if the customers are cranky Singaporeans that are sooooo kiasu. Believe me, these are the cases that I personally handled during my short stint there.
Customers called to ask about every single charges on the phone bill, why he was charged, and then scold the telco for charging them so much.
Customers who complained about obscene calls but stayed on for 30 minutes listening to the call.
Customers who called up to exclaim that their handphones are acting crazy and expect the telco magically send a new phone over or threaten to sue the telco.
Customers who begged to unsuspend line, telling a long, sad story about not being able to afford to pay, but used up thousands of dollars worth of phone charges.
Customers who demand waiver on services they CLAIMED they do not use.
Customers who called and ask for another telco’s info.
Customers who called up just so that they get to scold someone, anyone.
Customers who called in to complain about the long waiting time during the call.
Customers who called in to complain about other operators being rude to them.
Customers who called in just to get someone to talk to them.
Customers who called to threaten to jump ship if the telco don’t give them new phones. NAO!!!!
I was like, duhhh? There was actually more cranky customer stories, but like I said, it felt like it was so long ago that I couldn’t remember any, except one arsehole who called up and complained about me being incompetent. Bah! Who cares???
Next up! My convocation!!! (Hope I am hardworking enough to write a blog post!!! Kekekekek

Yawn! The weather is cloudy and humid, just nice for me to sleep at home until lunch time, but alas! I couldn’t, so the next best thing I could do is to blog from work.
My desk is finally ready, so I’ve gotta migrate from the temporary desk that belongs to the multimedia designer to my designated desk, and the whole morning is dedicated to re-fengshui both my desk and my desktop.
Of course I was trying to install messengers in the pc but both YM and MSN seems to run into a lot of problems and I am still stuck with web messenger and meebo. Let’s just hope that I can get to install them soon.
Now that I am sitting in the direct path of the air conditioner wind flow, that thing is giving me cold feet the whole morning. I should really wear socks. Damn cold.
P/s: Somebody please get me DAP’s rocket kid toy. Please, please, pretty please?

Blehhh.
I am hungry. Been hungry for the whole day even after sneaking out of the office to buy bread in mid morning and even after lunch, no thanks to the task of browsing through food pictures since morning until now, as of 6.10 pm.
Sheesh, the job is slowly poisoning my brain, which keep sending me signals that sounds vaguely like, you need a cuppa Hazel coffee, preferably from Old Town. Either that or hot chocolate.
Argh! Dangerous job!

Just transferred photos from my Lumix. Took these photos when I was still doing my intern with the advertising company. The working environment was quite good, actually.
Empty and devoid of activities. Well, normally it is quite a bustling department with a lot of customers and employees walking in and about.

The printing room where all the magic works. I mean, where all the banners and signboards and buntings were printed.

Well, couldn’t blame the employees for taking a break while watching the lion dance troupe usher in the new year and giving blessings of prosperity all over the building. There were 8 lions. Can you imagine that??? 8!!!1111oneoneone…
Business must be doing very well, kihkihkih…
