Well, at least I think I am. Which girl’s not a shoe girl anyway? Girls are attracred to shoes as much as guys are attracted to gadgets. We love gadgets too, but that story is for another day.

Let’s talk about shoes first. I have a confession to make. I actually like red shoes. Not those dull red shoes, but those shiny, bright red that rivals….Ronald’s shoes (Hint: McDonald’s). I didn’t notice at first, but eventually I seem to develop a consistent pattern of trying out Ronald’s shoes in all shoe shops first, then I move on to other colours. Like Blowfish Shoes, there are just so irresistible. I wonder if it is an inborn gene in the X chromosome that makes us girls loves shoes, and manufacturers such as Blowfish Women’s Shoes seize the opportunity to make more sales. Hmmm, I wonder if the male actually drool at these Blowfish Men’s Shoes. Makes me think.

About the only time I heard about cannabis seeds was when I watch an anime about a bread making boy using cannabis seed to flavour the bread and all sorts. I heard that the seeds are some sort of a health food and can be obtained via the internet.

I believe nowadays there are more business who are glad to remind us that Mothers Day is just around the corner, and while at it, make us feel guilty enough to get our dearest mother luxury items such as massage chairs worth tens of thousand dollars or cable TV subscription that cost an arm and a leg, just to show how filial you are. Have you seen one of their ads that tried so hard to evoke the guiltiness in us, so much so that it borderlines the word disgusting?

Mothers Day Gifts must be so expensive? I am not saying that I am cheapskate and all that, but does our mother dearest like what those advertisement make us believe that they need? Mind you, if I could afford, then by all means, I will try my best to make my mother happy, if that is what she wants. But I believe that quality time, communication and happiness is more important that expensive massage chair, cable TV subscription or twelve course dinner. When the family gathers, even a simple meal and chat means more than expensive gifts but absent children.

As for right now, the most I could afford would be
Mothers Day Flowers and I hope that my mother will be happy with what I could give her right now. Maybe, just maybe next time when I earn a decent salary I could afford better gifts.
